Shadow World - Diorama

This shadow world is a small digital experiment between play, design, and 3D manufacturing. It has resulted in a compact, modular diorama base that connects dark surfaces with crystalline forms. The landscape is intentionally kept minimal: a clear basic shape, broken structures, and few, striking elements that leave room for imagination without dictating it.

The idea originated from a very specific desire: a small world should be created for existing fantasy figures – calm, enclosed, and independent of pre-made playsets. Since there was nothing suitable to buy, the environment was designed from scratch. Not as a replica of an existing world, but as a neutral stage that allows for both play and presentation.

Constructively, the shadow world follows simple principles. The base consists of a stable plate with a structured surface, complemented by crystal-like elements that are glued in place. The shapes are robust, the geometries clear, the function unambiguous: to support, to limit, to create atmosphere.

In everyday life, the shadow world appears reserved and focused. It does not impose itself but quietly frames figures and scenes.
